Town defender Christophe happy with City Ground point as Blues stretch unbeaten run to four

Christophe Berra hailed Town’s away draw with Nottingham Forest as a ‘great point’.

The Scottish defender was in fine form as the Blues kept a clean sheet at the City Ground and was unfortunate not to see a second-half shot find the back of the net, before both sides settled for a point.

“It’s a great point on reflection against a strong team with a strong squad,” Christophe told the Club website.

“To come here and perform like we did and take an away point really shows how good the performance was.

“Don’t take anything for granted though, we’ve had chances ourselves as well as Forest.

“I’ve gone close with a shot after playing a one-two with Frank [Nouble] and about five minutes later I’ve connected well with a header which I think has actually hit Frank on the line!

“But overall it’s a good point and there won’t be too many teams who can come here and say that. It keeps the good run going ahead of a busy period of fixtures.”
