Left-back hoping for a profitable festive period to see Town break into the top six
Aaron Cresswell is hoping for a happy Christmas with Town, as Blues prepare for a busy festive period.
Mick McCarthy’s side take on Watford at Portman Road on Saturday before travelling to Doncaster and Bournemouth in quick succession.
Town are just three points off the Play-Offs and left-back Cressy is hoping a good return over Christmas can see Blues break into the top six ahead of the New Year.
“You don’t win or lose the league at Christmas but if we can do well over that period, it can set you up,” Cressy told the Club website.
“We’ve had a decent record over our last four or five games. If we can repeat that sort of form, we will be in a position around the Play-Offs and ready to push on.”
