Midfielder felt Town were worthy of a point after slipping to defeat to Blackburn at Ewood Park

Luke Hyam believes Town were worthy of at least a share of the spoils this afternoon, after Blues fell to a 1-0 defeat at Blackburn.

The midfielder felt Town deserved more for their efforts, with an own goal from Stephen Henderson separating to two sides at Ewood Park.

“All the lads and the staff are really disappointed with the result,” Luke told the Club website.

“The game had 0-0 written all over it in fairness but we certainly didn’t deserve to lose.

“It was a close game and we feel that we deserved a least a point this afternoon.

“Stears (Richard Stearman) has gone close with a header at the end and Gi (Guirane N’Daw) has fired just wide but sometimes you just don’t get that luck.

“Now we need to turn our focus to Saturday’s game and look to bounce back.”
