Skipper eyeing up consecutive home games as a springboard for Town to start climbing the table

Carlos Edwards is hoping Town can get back on track this week and put the defeat to Blackburn behind them.

Blues face a home double-header this week, with Blackpool visiting Portman Road on Saturday before hosting Watford on Tuesday- with the Town skipper eyeing up six points.

“We are back to that stage of the season where the games come thick and fast and we have a great chance to put right the disappointment of last weekend, with two home games in quick succession,” Carlos told the Club website.

“The defeat to Blackburn left everyone in the dressing room a little stunned, as we felt we deserved to take at least a point from the game.

“That game has gone now though and we are focusing on the next six points on offer against Blackpool and Watford this week. If we perform like we did against Middlesbrough, then why can’t we record back-to-back wins?”
