Mick and Terry big factors in Nouble becoming a Blue

Frank Nouble is relishing working with Mick McCarthy and Terry Connor after joining the Club from Wolves for an undisclosed fee.

The 21-year-old striker completed a medical yesterday and trained with the Town players for the first time this morning after putting pen to paper on an 18 month contract.

Frank, who worked alongside Terry at the start of this season after signing a two year deal at Molineux, told the Club website: “I’m delighted to be here and looking forward to playing for such a good club as Ipswich.

“I trained this morning and the enthusiasm that the manager and Terry have for the game is fantastic.

“They were big factors in me coming here. Mick was interested in me when I was at West Ham and I worked with Terry for a while after joining Wolves in the summer. They are two people who have a lot of respect in the game.

“I know it’s going to be a battle to get in the side. One look around the squad tells me that but you need that competition to be successful.

“I’m relishing the challenge and can’t wait to get going here.”

England U19 international Frank has been handed the number 35 shirt and becomes the fourth arrival at Portman Road since the January transfer window opened with Patrick Kisnorbo and Aaron Mclean arriving on loan and David McGoldrick signing a loan deal that will become permanent at the end of the season.
