Mick happy with Paul impact but no decision on loans
The wideman, who joined from Bristol City on Monday, set up Daryl Murphy’s opener in the 2-1 win against the League One club.
“We’re obviously delighted to have Paul here and he started well for us,” said the Town boss.
“He created the first goal and I was pleased with him. I have kept an eye on him for a long while. He will be a good asset to us.”
Town had three trialists in action, Dan Seaborne, Dean Gerken and Bongani Khumalo, who is spending time with Blues from Tottenham.
“Bongani did okay. He’s quick and athletic but we are not looking to sign him. He’s here with a view to a possible loan deal," added Mick.
