Paul set for Town bow in next pre-season action

Paul Anderson looks set to make his first appearance in a Town shirt when Blues take on Crawley in a friendly tonight.

The 24-year-old winger arrived from Bristol City in a two year deal on Monday and has been included in the squad for the trip to Broadfield Stadium.

“I’m really looking forward to getting going now and playing in the friendlies leading up to the start of the season,” Paul told the Club website.

“It’s always difficult when you go to a new club. You are never sure how you are going to fit in, how long it will take for you to gel.

“Luckily I know a few of the lads here already and that helps but there seems to be a good group here anyway.”

Former Town midfielder Andy Drury, who was released by the Club in the summer at the end of his contract, could come up against his old team-mates after joining Crawley at the start of this month.

Kick-off at the Broadfield Stadium is 7.45pm.
