Two year contract for striker McGoldrick

David McGoldrick has signed a two year deal with Town.

The 25-year-old striker joined the Club on loan from Nottingham Forest in January with an agreement in place to make it a permanent switch this summer.

The paperwork has now been completed with the football authorities and David is officially a Town player, signing a deal that will keep him at Portman Road until the summer of 2015.

The former Notts County and Southampton player made 14 appearances for Town last term, scoring four goals.

David is currently in Ireland with Town's first-team squad and looks likely to make his first appearance of pre-season against Shelbourne on Saturday.
