Manchester United midfielder to stay to January as Town make it 10 for the summer

Town have agreed a loan deal with Manchester United for Ryan Tunnicliffe that will see the midfielder stay at Portman Road until January.

The 20-year-old trained with Blues this morning and looks set to make his first appearance for the Club in the friendly at Notts County on Saturday.

Ryan, capped by England at U17 level, has progressed through the Academy at Old Trafford and was in their team that lifted the FA Youth Cup in 2011.

He spent six months on loan at Peterborough in the 2011/12 season, playing in their 7-1 win over Blues at London Road and clocking up close on 30 appearances for the club.

He had a brief loan stay at Barnsley last season as well as making his debut for United in their Capital One cup win over Newcastle.

Ryan becomes Town's 10th signing of what has been a busy summer at Portman Road.
