Paul to step up recovery in friendly after 10 month absence
The striker has been named in the squad for the trip down the A12 as he steps up his recovery from a foot injury that eventually resulted in surgery.
The 25-year-old was forced onto the sidelines last September during the home defeat by Wolves, just a few weeks after joining the Club from Peterborough.
“Paul has trained really well,” said Town boss Mick McCarthy.
“His injury is fine. He’s been pushing more than anyone else to play but it’s just been a case of making sure his rehabilitation is right and he’s ready to come back."
Kick-off at the Weston Homes Community Stadium is 7.45pm. Click here for full ticket details, with fans advised to get to the stadium early.
