Defender praises the support of the fans and is now looking to build on that for the new term

Luke Chambers is hoping Town can latch onto the ‘buzz’ around Portman Road and make a good start to the new season.

The fixtures were released last week with management, players and fans alike already getting excited for the new term to kick-off.

And after the strong finish to the last campaign, defender Luke is hoping Blues can pick up where they left off from and give the Blue Army more reason to cheer.

“I don’t see why we can’t give it a real good go next season,” Chambo told the Club website.

“There is a real buzz about the place and I think we’re in a good place to move forward.

“The gaffer came in last year and did a superb job and we really kicked on during the back end of last season.

“The fans were also brilliant and stuck by us through thick and thin even when things weren’t going so well. They deserve credit for that and we thank them for their loyal support.”
