Right-back agrees to remain at Chelmsford until the end of the season with paperwork expected to be completed tomorrow

Jack Ainsley has agreed to extend his loan at Chelmsford until the end of the season.

The Town right-back moved along the A12 earlier this month to join the Clarets on an initial one-month loan and that deal is set to be extended until the end of the current campaign, subject to the relevant paperwork being completed.

Jack, who is out of contract at Portman Road at the end of this term, has made one start and three substitute appearances for Town this season.

The defender has featured regularly for Glenn Pennyfather’s side, as has fellow loanee and Town teammate, Joe Whight.
