Another 'massive' three points says Mick after win over Bolton

Mick McCarthy felt Town deserved the three points in another ‘massive’ win for Blues.

Carlos Edwards’ first goal for two years just two minutes from time gave Blues the 1-0 victory over in-form Bolton, who had won their last five games.

“I think we just about deserved it,” the Town boss told the Club website.

“The performance was very good in the first-half. We had to change things around in the second-half tactically when they got on top and we stemmed the tide and then Carlos came up trumps at the end.

“Our midfield haven’t contributed with goals this season and we have been going on at them all week about getting into the box.

“It was a fabulous win for us and a massive three points, especially when you look at how the other teams around us have done.

“Going into the international break, it’s obviously made the win all the more important and the players will be given a few days off. They have earned that anyway.”
