Duo carrying knocks ahead of Bolton clash at Portman Road but Mick optimistic both will be fit enough to feature

“We are optimistic they will be okay and we’ve got a few others with bumps and bruises but we have to get on with it.”

“Chops has got a knock but we are hopeful he will be okay and Cressy has rocked his ankle, so he is a concern as well.

“The injuries are starting to mount up and we haven’t got the biggest squad anyway so that does make life harder,” Town boss Mick McCarthy told the Club website.

Lee Martin misses the game through suspension and Frank Nouble also looks set to miss out with a hamstring problem.

Chops missed last week’s draw at Peterborough with a dead leg, while Cressy has sustained an ankle problem.

Aaron Cresswell and Michael Chopra have both emerged as injury concerns for Blues ahead of the visit of Bolton at the weekend.
