Keeper salutes defence after 'biggest win of season' sets up visit to Forest

Stephen Henderson has paid tribute to the back four in front of him as Town look to continue the impressive defensive record of late against Forest on Tuesday.

Blues travel to the City Ground with four clean sheets in the last six games following Saturday’s win over high flying Leicester, who beat Town 6-0 back in November.

“That was the biggest win of the season for me so far,” Hendo told the Club website.

“It was a massive three points anyway but given what happened at their place when we played them, that added to it.

“It was another clean sheet and that is what it’s about for me, keeping the opposition out and picking up the three points and we did that really well against Leicester.

“The back four have been fantastic over that run. I have not been that busy to be honest and that is down to Stears, Tommy, Cressy and Chambo. They have done a terrific job.

“All the hard work we have done on the training ground in terms of shape, defending as a unit is starting to show and we are looking solid but we know we have a lot more to do.

“Forest are on a good run and have a really good side so we won’t be getting carried away. We have to stay focused on doing our job.”
