Keeper departs Portman Road after seeing loan ended early
Stephen Henderson’s loan at Town has been cut short after the ‘keeper was recalled by parent club West Ham.
The Hammers moved to recall Hendo following an injury to one of their 'keepers and activated the 24 hour recall clause that was inserted into the original loan agreement.
It signals the end of the Irishman’s second loan stint at Portman Road, after first arriving in October, before returning to Town in January.
Henderson has made 24 appearances for Town during this season.
Blues could bring in a replacement if Mick McCarthy chooses to do so, as the loan window doesn’t shut until Thursday, 28th March and goalkeepers are permitted to move for a maximum of 93 days.
