Goalscorer Didsy delighted with the all-round team performance and believes a template for success has been set

David McGoldrick believes Town have set themselves a marker for the rest of the season, after a superb team performance saw Blues beat Leicester at Portman Road.

The Nottingham Forest loanee fired home the winner with five minutes remaining to see Mick McCarthy’s side secure a vital three points against the Foxes.

“It’s a massive win for us and that has got to be the template for us for the rest of the season now,” the striker told the Club website.

“We dug in throughout, it was a great team performance and we’ve kept another clean sheet.

“Luckily I’ve nicked that goal at the end and it’s a great feeling to get the three points and celebrate with the lads.

“Now we need to keep pushing on and keep this momentum going.”
