Town winger expecting to shake of groin injury in time for 'Kids for a Quid' tie against Nigel Pearson's men

Paul Anderson is confident he will be available for the Leicester game after recovering from a groin injury.

The wideman missed the win over Blackpool at the weekend after aggravating the problem in training but has told the Club website that he will be fine for the visit of the high-flying Foxes on November 23.

“The injury is okay now,” said Ando. “I was trying to force myself back for the Blackpool game and trained a day earlier than I should have done and broke down.

“It’s been a niggly injury. It’s been not quite right and it was really annoying because I wanted to be involved at Blackpool.

“I’ve trained all week though and it’s been fine. I’ll definitely be okay for the Leicester game and hopefully I’ll be in the squad.”

Youngsters under the age of 16 will be able to attend the match against Leicester at Portman Road for just £1. Click here for full details and to purchase tickets for this ‘Kids for a Quid’ game.
