BOSS: CHANGES A CONSIDERATION

7 November 2013

Mick may 'freshen' things up by the seaside

Mick McCarthy says he is considering making changes to his side for the weekend trip to Blackpool.

Aaron Cresswell is definitely missing after being suspended for two games following his red card against Barnsley last Friday, with Tyrone Mings set to come in.

Paul Anderson is a concern with a groin injury but Mick admits he is looking at the options in his squad.

“We have got a squad of players here and it did work before when we freshened things up against Birmingham after going on a run of four or five games without a win,” the Town boss told the Club website.

“We played well after making those changes and it’s a consideration for this weekend.

“Cressy is obviously out but that gives Ty an opportunity and we will see how Ando is. He’s got a groin injury and we will look at him tomorrow.”
