Mick looking for Jordan to bring zip into Town
The 18-year-old winger has joined Blues on loan from Aston Villa until the start of January and looks set to be included in the squad for Saturday’s trip to Charlton.
“Jordan is an exciting winger who goes past people,” the Town boss told Ipswich Player.
“He’s got good feet and he’s quick. He’s highly thought of at Aston Villa and he brings something different to the team.
“We’ve got solid wide players who do a great job but have we got that blistering pace that can go outside, I’m not so sure.
“We’re hoping Jordan will bring a bit of zip into the team and he could prove to be a game changer for us.
“I remember when I was at Sunderland, I brought in Stuart Downing on loan from Middlesbrough. He’d been playing in their reserves at the time. He played six or seven games for us and took the league by storm. If Jordan has a similar impact, we will all be delighted.”
