Ando goes the extra mile in his quest to raise funds for Movember, in partnership with Prostate Cancer UK
Paul Anderson has stepped up his Movemeber challenge by dying his moustache blue, to match his Town shirt!
The midfielder is amongst a number of first-team players taking part in the month long challenge to grow a moustache in partnership with Prostate Cancer UK, with Mick McCarthy and a number of Town’s non-football playing staff also getting involved.
As our pictures show, Ando has really gone the extra mile and you can see his progress below.
Step one: No going back now!
Step two: Gandalf?
Step three: Hulk Hogan?
Step four: Halfway stage
Step five: Almost there
Step six: The finished article!
If you would like to support the lads in this fantastic charity gesture, you can donate via our Just Giving page or by clicking here.
“I’ve decided to dye mine blue for a laugh and hopefully people will take to it, it’s a bit of fun,” Ando told the Club website.
“The gaffer and a few of the lads have got involved and there’s a good bit of banter flying around the training ground at the minute!
“I’ve had a go at it every year for the last few years now and it’s great to be doing it for such a great cause, in Prostate Cancer UK.
“Everybody is trying to raise awareness and funds for the charity and we have a good laugh growing the moustaches in the process, so everyone is having a good go and hopefully we can raise plenty of money for the cause.”Tweets by @Official_ITFC
