ITFC players and staff join forces to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK by taking part in 'Movember'

You may have noticed a number of the Town first-team squad, as well as manager Mick McCarthy, sporting some facial hair this month, as they take part in ‘Movember’, in partnership with Prostate Cancer UK.

Well seeing as we are approaching the halfway stage, we felt it was time for a Movember update from the training ground and the offices at Portman Road, with a number of non-football playing staff also getting involved with the month-long challenge.

Included in our photos here are Town boss Mick McCarthy, players Luke Chambers, Cole Skuse, Paul Anderson and Daryl Murphy, Digital Media Editor, Jonathon Ogle, Theo Benneworth from the Sales team and James Moss and Gary Richards from the finance department.

There are a number of other members of the first-team squad involved, including skipper Carlos Edwards who is backing the campaign.

“It’s a bit of fun and a great way for us to join the ITFC office staff in trying to raise funds for this great cause and also awareness of this life-threatening disease,” Carlos told the Club website.

Ando has certainly embraced the Movember challenge, promising to dye his ‘mo’ blue, to show his true Town colours, whilst the gaffer has promised a special treat if we hit a certain target of fund raising (more to follow on this, so check out our official Twitter, Facebook and Instagram pages).
