Striker to get match action ahead of busy Christmas for Blues

Jack Marriott is joining Woking on a month’s loan.

The 19-year-old striker has been on the bench lately but has not featured for Blues this season.

The paperwork will be completed on Friday with Jack likely to make his debut for the Skrill Premier club against Dartford on Tuesday.

“Jack is going to Woking and that will be great for him because it means he will be playing competitive games,” said Town boss Mick McCarthy.

“We have Paul Taylor back and he’s in front of Jack but we have a busy Christmas period ahead and if he can go out and play six or seven games, then that will serve us well when it comes to that Christmas period.”

The Academy graduate will continue to train with Town.
