Town duo take a break from Blackpool preparations to visit the Dame Vera Lynn Trust
Scott Loach and Christophe Berra took a break from the build up to Saturday’s visit to Blackpool to visit The Dame Vera Lynn Trust.
The Suffolk based charity is an independent pre-school for children who have difficulties with movement and co-ordination.
The children have a wide range of conditions, including Down’s Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Infantile Spasms, Chromosomal abnormalities and Autism, and many have no diagnosis.
Scott and Christophe met with four children who benefit from the charity’s work and got involved in some of the afternoon’s activities which included movement games and messy play with lots of paint.
“Scott and I had a great time meeting Ruby, Lucy, Bella and Vincent and the staff at The Dame Vera Lynn Trust,” said Christophe, who will be on international duty with Scotland next week.
“The charity clearly do fantastic work to support not only the children themselves but also their families and it was good to see how the staff made learning interactive and fun.”
