Town on board with 'Kick it Out' campaign on their 20th anniversary as highlighted during the Burnley game

Town’s game against Burnley saw the Club support this season’s ‘Kick it Out’ campaign, which marks the charity’s 20th anniversary.

Kick it Out works throughout the football, educational and community sectors to challenge discrimination, encourage inclusive practices and work for positive change.

The Blues once again teamed up with Suffolk FA and Ormiston Children and Families Trust to host a football session on the practice pitch before the game, which aimed to promote and encourage community cohesion by engaging with children and adults from diverse backgrounds.

“At Ipswich Town we believe that everyone has a right to enjoy football regardless of their gender, race, ethnicity, sexuality or background,” said Town’s PR Manager, Jade Cole.

“The Club has a zero-tolerance stance on any type of discriminatory behaviour and work hard to promote and implement this message.”

The players also showed their support for the campaign by wearing the Kick it Out t-shirts to warm up in ahead of the game.
