Ryan insists it's time to move on from Saturday's defeat to league leaders Burnley as Town look to get back to winning ways at Bolton

Ryan Tunnicliffe has told Ipswich Player that Town can’t afford to dwell on Saturday’s defeat to Burnley and must look ahead to putting things right against Bolton.

The midfielder was part of the Blues side that slipped to a 1-0 defeat to the league leaders at Portman Road last time out, with a trip to the Reebok Stadium next up for Mick McCarthy’s men.

“Obviously we didn’t want to lose and it was hard to take, seeing as we conceded as late as the 82nd minute, as we should have held out,” the Manchester United loanee told Ipswich Player.

“We knew it would be a tough game as Burnley are top of the league and of course we were disappointed. But we can’t dwell on that now and we are now looking ahead to Saturday’s trip to Bolton.

“We’ve watched the DVD of the game and we know where we were going wrong. The manager still believes in us and they way we are playing, trying to get the ball down and pass it so we won’t be changing our approach.

“We’re looking forward to facing Bolton and trying to put things right. It will be another tough game, as they all are in the Championship, but we’ve been performing well and we want to turn those good performances into results.”
