Goalscorer Ando satisfied with away point but felt Blues could have taken all three on another day

Paul Anderson was happy to see Town claim another point on the road, although felt it could have been all three on another day.

The midfielder fired the Blues in front at Hillsborough with a classy finish into the bottom corner, before the Owls hit back through Michail Antonio to claim a share of the spoils.

“I could be standing here with a first away win but I think a draw was probably the right result,” Ando told the Club website.

“We put in another good performance in the second-half, whilst I thought they put a bit more pressure on us in the second-half.

“I think it’s a great point. It’s another point away from home and if we can keep winning at Portman Road to follow these away points up, then I think it’s a good recipe.

“I was delighted to get on the scoresheet, especially in front of the travelling Town fans. It was a great ball into me from Didzy [McGoldrick] and I’ve made a good connection with the shot.

“They’re easily missable when you have that much time but thankfully I kept my composure and found the corner.

“It’s just a shame that we’ve conceded soon after and not managed to take all three points, but overall I think it’s a decent result for us today.”
