Tommy and Elliott report back to Portman Road following time away representing their nations
Tommy Smith and Elliott Hewitt have both returned to Portman Road following international duty.
The pair reported back to the Club following time away, with Tommy playing his part for New Zealand as the All Whites drew 0-0 with Trinidad & Tobago in Port of Spain earlier this week, whilst Elliott picked up his ninth cap for the Wales U21s as they comfortably beat San Marino 4-0 in Bangor.
“Tommy has done a lot of travelling so we will have to see how he is ahead of the weekend but he’s back at the Club,” Town boss Mick McCarthy told the Club website.
Meanwhile Academy ‘keeper Michael Crowe, who penned his first professional contract with the Blues recently, has been included in the Wales U19 squad to travel to a training camp in Spain next week, with a friendly against Malaga U19.
