Ryan full of praise for Blues as Town come from behind to beat Middlesbrough at Portman Road

Ryan Tunnicliffe was delighted to see Town get back to winning ways, after Blues came from behind to take all three points against Middlesbrough at Portman Road.

A brace from David McGoldrick, either side of a Luke Chambers header, saw Mick McCarthy’s side beat Boro 3-1, after Albert Adomah had earlier fired the visitors in front.

“It’s a great feeling to have won the game and I think we definitely deserved it,” Ryan told Ipswich Player.

“We showed good character to come from behind to win the game and I thought at times our passing moves were very good.

“I enjoyed playing out on the left and I felt me and Cressy (Aaron Cresswell) linked up well. He’s a northerner like me so we manage to understand each other well!

“We need to repeat that performance again on Tuesday and we will have a good rest tonight and then be back in tomorrow to prepare for that game.”
