Midfielder delighted to net stunning Town goal but more pleased with huge three points for the Blues

Paul Anderson told the official Club website that he won’t score many better goals than the one he got tonight, which set Town onto a massive three points away at Huddersfield.

The midfielder curled home a lovely opener for Blues, before Daryl Murphy sealed the win for Town in a dominant display at the John Smith’s Stadium which sees Mick McCarthy’s side sit two points outside the top six

“It’s a massive win for us and it keeps us right in the mix,” Ando explained post-match.

“We started the game really well and we could have put the game to bed earlier than we did, because we created a lot of chances.

“But we’ve ground the game out and we’re all delighted with the win.

“I’m pleased to get on the scoresheet and I don’t think I’ll hit many better than that with my left foot!

“It’s great to score but although it’s a cliché, the main thing is getting the three points as a team and moving onto another big game on Saturday.”
