Midfielder excited to be returning to Portman Road and is looking to play his part in the push for a top six finish

Jonny Williams has told the Club website that he is delighted to be back at Town and is hoping to help the Blues in their push for a top six finish.

The midfielder proved a huge hit in his month stay at Portman Road, scoring once in six appearances, and will now remain with Mick McCarthy’s side until the end of the season, although Crystal Palace do have the option to recall the Wales international at 24 hours notice.

“I’m delighted to be extending the loan because I’ve really enjoyed my time at Ipswich,” Jonny told the Club website.

“It’s been a great experience for me and I’ve loved working under the manager and TC [Terry Connor].

“I’m excited to get back training with the lads and playing my part as we try and push into the Play-Ofs.”
