Eight homegrown products included in intake for next season
Eight of the youngsters that have been handed scholarships for next season have progressed through the Academy youth ranks at the Club.
Ten scholars in all will join Town’s Academy next season and they were at the training ground today to meet Blues’ boss Mick McCarthy and Academy manager Bryan Klug.
The boys and their parents were shown around the facilities before signing their scholarship forms that will see them spend two years at least at the Club.
The ten are:
Kundai Benyu, midfielder
Travis Cole, central defender
Harry Daly, full-back
Samuel Ford, striker
George Fowler, central-defender
Nicholas Ingram, striker
Ronaldo Jones, winger
Christopher Smith, central defender
plus Monty Patterson, who hails from New Zealand and Myles Kenlock, who is from Croydon.
