Paul Anderson felt Town had the chances to take all three points at the iPro Stadium, but believes Blues have to pleased with a share of the spoils against Derby.

The midfielder added to his assists tally by setting up Christophe Berra, who headed home in the second-half to cancel out Chris Martin’s opener for the Rams.

“I’m developing a nice little partnership with Christophe and I’ve been happy with my deliveries so far this season,” Ando told Ipswich Player after the game.

“That’s a few I’ve set up for him now- although he still hasn’t thanked me for setting him up!

“But it’s great to see him amongst the goals again and that was an important goal for us.

“It sees us go into the international break with a good away point against a strong team and, although we haven’t got into our stride just yet, we’re happy to have got something from the game.

“I thought it was a game of two halves and we had the chances to win it in the end.

“It has to be seen as a good point though and we will be refreshed to go again after the international break.”
