Town to be without 10 senior players for trip to Crawley but Matt Clarke and Jack Marriott will both start for Blues.
Town boss Mick McCarthy admits he has an injury headache ahead of the trip to Crawley tomorrow evening.
The Blues are set to be without 10 first-team players for the Capital One Cup first round clash, with youngsters Jack Marriott and Matthew Clarke both starting for Town at Broadhall Way.
“We’ve got a few knocks and niggles but I certainly won’t be risking anyone if they’re not fully fit,”
“The lads ran themselves into the ground against Fulham and we’ve picked up a few knocks. Skusey has a problem with his foot, Luke Hyam got cramp and Tyrone [Mings] has a sore back.
Jack Marriott will start for Town at Crawley
“Tommy Smith has a sore groin but he had that last week so Matt Clarke will make his debut for us, which is great for a 17 year-old.
“Jack Marriott will also start. He’s been away at Woking, playing competitive games and he’s come back leaner. He’ll be starting at Crawley.”
