Win £2000 cruise in Town's halfway line challenge

Town have teamed up again with Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines to offer another fantastic prize to the winner of our new half-time competition.

Last season, fans were invited to test their skills on the Portman Road pitch in a crossbar challenge competition, this year it’s a test of nerve, skill, accuracy and distance.

The game
Each match, starting from the derby against Norwich later this month, two home fans – and maybe an away one as well – will have the chance to put the ball in the net at the
Sir Bobby Robson Stand end. They will shoot at goal from the penalty spot, from 30 yards out and finally from the halfway line with points awarded as the distance increases.

The five highest scoring supporters through the season will then contest a grand final to be held at the final Championship home game of 2014/15, against Nottingham Forest on April 25.

Three Academy scholars will be putting their skills to the test in a demonstration of how the game works at half-time on Saturday.

What you win
The overall winner will walk off, or rather sail off with a seven-night 'Mountains & Majestic Fjords' cruise, departing from Harwich on May 2, taking in some breathtaking scenes and all done in luxury.

Neil Finbow won the Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines crossbar challenge last season and gave the prize to his parents, Mary and Arthur.

The couple set sail on board Fred. Olsen's Braemar and had a wonderful holiday, saying: “What an amazing experience. It really was a holiday of a lifetime. The Braemar is excellent, the food, entertainment, our cabin, the friendly crew - it was all fabulous. The destinations were stunning. It was an unforgettable experience.”
