Republic of Ireland international to spend season at Portman Road
The 27-year-old striker trained with his new team-mates this morning and should be eligible to play at the Madejski providing the paperwork is completed by the football authorities before the noon deadline tomorrow.
Dublin-born Conor played in the League of Ireland before heading to the SPL to join Kilmarnock in 2008.
He spent three years with the Scottish club, averaging a goal every three games – form that caught the eye of Roberto Martinez, who signed him for Wigan in January 2011.
Conor spent 18 months with the Latics, playing all his football there in the Premier League before heading to Derby in August 2012.
He has clocked up 90 appearances in his two years with the Rams and in that time he has forced his way into the Republic of Ireland squad, winning nine caps so far.
