INJURY BOOST FOR BLUES

14 August 2014

Didz and Murph among players back training ahead of Royals' appointment

Town have been handed a boost ahead of Saturday’s trip to Reading with only Cole Skuse and Stephen Hunt missing training this morning.

Blues were without string of injured players for the Capital One Cup defeat at Crawley on Tuesday, with David McGoldrick, Tommy Smith and Daryl Murphy among those left behind for treatment.

“There is good news on the injury front,” the Town boss told the Club website.

“Most of the players trained this morning apart from Skusey, he’s still on the treatment table but we are hoping he will be able to train tomorrow.

“Hunt aggravated a calf injury that he had through pre-season but he’s on his way back now as well.

“He’s out there training with the kids, not with the first-team yet but hopefully that won’t be far away.”
