Striker departs Portman Road on temporary basis to team up with Town's Championship rivals subject to paperwork
Paul Taylor has agreed to join Rotherham United on loan, subject to the relevant paperwork being ratified by the Football League.
The striker has been allowed to join the Millers on a temporary basis, after Town boss Mick McCarthy confirmed he was available for transfer or loan over the summer.
Paul did feature for Blues against Crawley earlier this week, playing 80 minutes as Town exited the Capital One Cup at the first round stage.
The Liverpudlian, who wears the number 26 shirt for Town, joined the Blues from Peterborough in 2012 but has struggled to hold down a place in the side despite recovering from a serious foot injury he picked up just weeks after arriving at Portman Road.
