Staff at the Ipswich Tourist Information Centre to wear Town shirts on a matchday to support Mick and the lads
Town for promotion? We'll put our shirts on it!
Visitors to Ipswich's Tourist Information Centre (TIC) will be in no doubt that the Blues are the talk of the town.
With Mick McCarthy's men flying high in the Championship, staff at the TIC are keen to show their support. Visitors and residents coming in to find out information about the town will see the TIC team all wearing Ipswich Town shirts on matchdays.
Carole Jones is in charge of tourism at the Borough Council. She said: "There is such a feel good factor at the moment, with Town doing so well.
“Everyone is talking about the team and the push for promotion and we want to show our support, too.
“The Tourist Information Centre attracts thousands of visitors and residents and on matchdays they will be in no doubt that the whole town is behind the Club!"
“It’s great to see the staff at the TIC wearing Town colours and really getting behind The Blues,” said Ipswich Town’s director of sales, Rosie Richardson.
“That support from local organisations and businesses is vital and appreciated by everyone at the Football Club.”
