Keeper earned them a draw with two great saves says Mick after shut-out at Bolton
Jay Tabb came closest to breaking the deadlock in the second-half, with Andy Lonergan denying the midfielder with two excellent saves.
“In the second-half we were the dominant team, the first-half they probably shaded it,” said the Town boss.
“We defended well and Bart didn’t have a save to make really. We looked the more likely to win it but I was conscious at the end that they might nick one as we have done recently.
“Their ‘keeper made two great saves though from Tabby. He has done really well to block the first one. The second one from a header, I don’t know how he knows where it is going. It was a terrific save.
“He has probably earned their team a point in the second-half but that is what he is there for.
“It was important that if we can’t win it, we don’t lose it and that is what we did so I’ll take the point.”
