Striker delighted with Town's progression under Mick and claims we're 'there to be shot at' after climbing up to second
Daryl Murphy believes Town are there 'to be shot at', after becoming more streetwise under Mick McCarthy.
The Blues currently sit in second place in the Championship following last weekend’s win over Charlton, with Leeds next up for Town at Portman Road- a place the striker believes many teams won’t relish visiting.
“There won’t be too many teams that will fancy playing us at the minute, especially at Portman Road,” Daryl told the Club website.
“We’re second in the table and we’re there to be shot at.
“At the start of the season we targeted getting into the top six, as we knew that would be realistic and I think we are showing that with our performances and results this season.
“We’ve definitely become more streetwise and we know what the league is all about.
“Teams are coming to beat us and they all know that we are a threat now.”
