We paid the price for conceding poor goals says Mick
Frank Nouble and David McGoldrick were on target for Blues but a second-half hat-trick from substitute Joe Garner won the game for the Lilywhites.
“I’m annoyed and frustrated that we have lost that game,” said the Town boss.
“When we got in front, we were in control of the game but we let them off the hook and from my point of view, they were three bad goals.
“We didn’t defend the corner well enough for their first goal but even when it was 2-2, we had the best chance. Hunty [Stephen Hunt] has not played a lot of football and on another day he may have scored.
“We had no kids out on the pitch. We had a strong team and for most parts we played well but we paid the price for letting in three poor goals.”
