Boost for Blues as Cressy, Cole, Murph and Chambo return for weekend

Town have been boosted by the news that Daryl Murphy, Aaron Cresswell, Luke Chambers and Cole Skuse will all be available for Saturday.

The four missed the FA Cup replay defeat by Preston with injury but have all been back in training this morning and are available for selection.

“I was not prepared to risk Chambo and Cressy on Tuesday but was always confident they would be okay for Millwall,” Blues’ boss Mick McCarthy told the Club website.

“They’ve had little niggles. It was the same with Cole. He had a dead leg but he will be okay as well.

“Murphy was going to be more touch and go. He’s had a thigh injury but he trained for the first time since the injury this morning and he will be fine.”

Town do have worries over Carlos Edwards and Tyrone Mings though, with Mick adding: “They both missed training. Carlos took a kick just above his knee. He was one of our bright spots from Tuesday night and he should be okay for the weekend.

“Tyrone took a really nasty kick of the foot. It’s very sore and we will have to see how he is tomorrow.”
