Cole disappointed at manner of Town's defeat to Millwall thanks to a Ryan Fredericks debut goal

Cole Skuse admitted that there were a lot of frustrated figures inside the Town dressing-room, after the Blues slipped to a 1-0 defeat to Millwall at The Den.

A first-half goal, albeit fortuitous, from Lions debutant Ryan Fredericks ensured that Ian Holloway’s side were taking all three points in his first home game in charge.

“It was a very frustrating afternoon,” Cole told the Club website.

“A lot of us have held our hands up in the dressing-room and the manager has said his piece after the game. It’s just been one of those days where nothing has gone right for us today.

“We can say that nothing went for us but at the same time, we didn’t really make any of our own luck which is disappointing.

“It’s frustrating that we perhaps didn’t have the same drive in terms of chances as we have done recently and it’s disappointing that we’ve allowed the game to fizzle out.

“A disappointing day all round but we have to learn from this and try and put things right on Saturday.”
