Striker sidelined as Murph misses QPR visit as well
The striker was forced off half an hour into the 1-1 draw against Preston last weekend in what was his first appearance in a Blues’ shirt after signing a contract to the end of the season.
“It will be three or four weeks before Sylvan is back,” Town boss Mick McCarthy told the Club website.
“He needs a real period of rehabilitation before he starts playing first-team games again.
“Daryl Murphy will also miss the QPR game at the weekend. He’s got a thigh strain. He should be back for Millwall next week though.”
Mick also confirmed that Alan Lee will be on the bench for the visit of Rangers.
