Blues have been handed an away tie against the Reds should Mick McCarthy's side beat Preston in a replay

Town have been drawn away from home in the fourth round of the FA Cup, should the Blues progress past Preston in a third round replay.

Mick McCarthy's side have been handed an away tie at Nottingham Forest, in a repeat of the December stalemate at the City Ground.

The Blues aren't there yet though, with a tricky third round replay against Preston at Deepdale still to come to determine who faces Billy Davies' side.

Forest comfortably progressed the the fourth round with an emphatic 5-0 win over Premier League side West Ham.

The ties will be played on the weekend of the 25/26th of January. Full details to follow on the Club website, should Town get past Preston.
