Lead out the team alongside your favourite Town player this season

You are standing in the tunnel, the music is loud and getting louder. You can see the pitch.

You can see the fans getting more excited, waiting for the players to walk out before kick-off.

You can sense the anticipation, the atmosphere is amazing. The players can’t way to get going.

The referee is at the front of the players, ready to lead the teams out. Right behind him, proudly wearing their blue shirt and standing next to the Ipswich Town players, the official Town mascot for matchday.

With the new season just around the corner and Junior membership packs set to land on doormats this week, it’s time for us to select some of our Junior fans to be official ITFC mascots.

To be a mascot you need to be a member of either: Bluey’s Bunch, Crazee’s Crew or a Town Teen. When you receive your membership pack you will also receive a mascot application form.

Simply complete the form and return to us at Portman Road for your chance to be entered into the monthly ballots that take place to determine which of our lucky members will be able to experience a magical day...

What does our home mascot get?
If you are a home mascot you can look forward to:

• Your very own pre-match warm up on the pitch
• Your photo and details in the matchday programme and on the scoreboard
• A free matchday programme
• An  ITFC pennant signed by the first-team
• A certificate signed by the manager
• Leading the team out of the famous Portman Road tunnel
• Photos with the captains and match officials which are yours to keep
• The chance to meet Bluey and Crazee and also speak to Rob on the microphone
• Two free match tickets
• A free exclusive match trophy

Don’t forget that you need to ask your parent/guardian to sign the form for you.

The sooner we receive your form, the more ballots you can be a part of.

If you are one of the lucky ones, we will write to you with details of your match and tell you what you need to do.

Please remember that if selected you will need to provide a full current kit (home or
away) to wear on the day.

What about being an away mascot?

We always ask the other clubs within the Championship if we can take a mascot to their ground when Ipswich play there. It’s great to be an away mascot, and you get to do lots of exciting things!*

Remember, you can apply to be a home and an away mascot.

*All away mascot packages vary according to the club the mascot is selected to go to.

Please be aware that there is a fee applicable on selection as a mascot.

If you would like to be a mascot but are not yet a Junior member, please click here for more information on the different memberships and details of how to purchase memberships.
