'Character' Stephen signs one year deal with Blues
The Republic of Ireland international joined Blues on a short term contract in November last season and then signed a five month agreement in January, going on to make 24 appearances in total.
He has now penned a 12 month contract, with Town boss Mick McCarthy telling the Club website: “We have resigned Hunty and we’re delighted about that.
“He’s a great character and is good to have around the place, not just for what he brings on the pitch but off it as well.
“The players took to him straightaway when he first arrived here last season. He’s an experienced player who has played at the highest level and he will be a great asset to the squad.”
Hunty follows fellow widemen, Alex Henshall and Cameron Stewart in joining Town this summer.
