Bru and Bajner catch boss' eye but he expects Freddy to leave Blues
Balint Bajner scored a terrific opening goal to send Town on the way to a 2-1 win at Roots Hall, Anthony Wordsworth getting the second with the last kick of the game.
Kevin Bru joined Bajner as a half-time substitute on the night and Mick has been happy with the impact both trialists have made in their two weeks at Portman Road.
“Balint did well. He’s done well in every game. I’m really pleased with him,” said the Town boss.
“He’s only 23 and I think he’s got improvement in him. We’ll continue to monitor him, definitely.
“Kevin has done very well, as well. I’ve been delighted with him. He’s a really good player.”
Meanwhile Mick confirmed that he expects Freddy Veseli to leave the Club. The defender has joined Port Vale on loan until January but the Town boss said: “That’s the end of his time with us. It was the end of his time at the end of last season if someone had taken him. I’d made him available.
“He’s gone to Port Vale and who knows, somebody else might want him from there and he might be able to progress. Let’s hope he can because he’s a lovely young fella.”
