A TENNER TO WATCH DERBY CLASH

23 March 2014

Discounted tickets available for season ticket holders as Play-Off chase hots up

Season ticket holders can purchase extra match tickets for Tuesday’s crucial clash with Derby at heavily reduced prices.

Blues, on the back of an impressive 2-0 win at Brighton at the weekend, take on the Rams, who themselves had an eye-catching 5-0 win against Nottingham Forest at the iPro Stadium on the same afternoon.

Derby are virtually assured of a place in the Play-Offs and still have a slim chance of automatic promotion while Town could get within two points of the top six with a win over Steve McClaren’s side.

With Play-Off rivals Forest the visitors to Portman Road on Saturday, it’s a crucial week for Blues.

“It was a huge win for us at Brighton and now we face another massive game against Derby,” Town boss Mick McCarthy told the Club website.

“We are still in there, still in the mix for the Play-Offs.”

The teams shared eight goals at the iPro Stadium in October in one of the games of the season in the Championship.

As one of a number of promotions over the Championship run-in, the Club are offering season ticket holders and Silver membership holders the opportunity to buy up to four match tickets for the game at just £10 for adults; £8 for concessions and £3 juniors. Click here for full details.
